Our annual list of resources for Black History Month is now available. We list books, children’s books, journals and databases available at the Poly Library or electronically.

ILL suspended during break

Interlibrary loan will offer restricted services during most of Winter break (December 11 — January 3). Loan requests will be limited to USF inter-campus transfers only.

For items outside the USF system, we cannot hold a backlog of requests during the entire intersession so we’re asking that you hold back on requests altogether [...]

Textbook buyback

The USF Bookstore will come to campus on the following dates for the textbook buyback:

Thursday, December 9th – 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM – LTB 1125
Saturday, December 11th – 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM – LTB 1120

Florida Publishers Association 2010 President’s Book Awards

Position opening for OPS Student Library Assistant

The USF Polytechnic Library has a position opening:

Schedule: 28hrs/week
weekday evenings (Monday-Thursday) and daytime on Saturday

Salary: $10/hr

Duties:

Staffing the circulation desk and circulating books and other materials;

Answering and forwarding phone calls;
Answering directional questions and referring other requests for assistance, as appropriate;
Other projects as needed.

This position requires strict adherence to procedures overseeing confidentiality of library users’ records. [...]

Thanks to funding provided by SGA, the Library and Open Use Computer Lab have new, extended hours starting today, September 13.
