USF Poly Library’s Interlibrary Loan will stop services over the break from December 22th to January 3rd. Please schedule your requests accordingly and take note that other libraries may not be processing loans over the entire break period. UBorrow will still be available, but may be delayed due to cooperating library schedules and university closing [...] The Library and Open Use Lab will be open during the following hours during the semester break: Saturday, December 10: 9:00AM to 3:00PM Catherine Lavallée-Welch, Director of the University of South Florida Polytechnic Library, was voted chair-elect of the Academic Division of the Special Libraries Association (SLA). Her three year term starts in January. Created in 2009, the Academic Division has more than 570 members. As always, Polytechnic circulating books are located in the New Books shelves in the back of the room. Reference is shelved immediately in their proper stacks. FIPR materials are shelved immediately in their proper stacks (although there are no new titles this month.) The books [...] The Tampa Bookstore will be on campus December 5th through December 8 for the textbook buy back. The buy back will take place in LTB 1122, from 2PM to 6PM each day. Are final exams stressing you? Take a Bark Break with Echo the therapy dog. The Library is bringing in our favorite certified therapy dog to offer a much needed stress break.
