Thanksgiving opening hours

Please find below the Library and Open Use Lab opening hours for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.

Monday, November 22 to Wednesday, November 24: 8AM to 10PM
Thursday and Friday, November 25 and 26: closed
Saturday, November 27: 9AM to 3PM

We wish you all an happy and safe Thanksgiving! We are thankful to have such great library users!

Noisy Group Study area

Due to work on the building A/C system, we have to open the door in the server room in the back of the Library, in the Group Study area. There is a fair amount of fan noise as a consequence.

We apologize for the noise and inconvenience.

Closed on Veterans' Day

The USF Poly Library and the Open Use Lab will be closed on Thursday, November 11th, in observance of Veterans’ Day.

LTB 1115 will reopen on Friday, the 12th at 8:00 AM.

Business Librarian wins election!

Business Librarian Lisa Zilinski will become one of two Directors of the Florida and Caribbean Chapter of the Special Libraries Association (SLA) this coming January. This position on the Executive Board of the Chapter is for a period of two years.

Computers under maintenance

The computers in the Library and Open Use Lab are currently being replaced by newer, faster models. We have already received new, bigger monitors. Not all of the machines are available yet. This includes the public access computer and the micro-form reader/scanner.
