Position opening for OPS Student Library Assistant

The USF Polytechnic Library has a position opening:

Schedule: 28hrs/week
weekday evenings (Monday-Thursday) and daytime on Saturday

Salary: $10/hr

Duties:

Staffing the circulation desk and circulating books and other materials;

Answering and forwarding phone calls;
Answering directional questions and referring other requests for assistance, as appropriate;
Other projects as needed.

Thanks to funding provided by SGA, the Library and Open Use Computer Lab have new, extended hours starting today, September 13.

ILLiad maintenance and downtime

The interlibrary loan system, ILLiad, will be down today, September 7, for a period of one hour, sometimes between 10:00 PM and 2:00 AM. The web pages and clients will be unavailable.

Please plan your ILL requests accordingly.

Open door seminars

The library will hold open door, hands-on seminars on popular topics. These seminars are open to all, students, faculty and staff; no registration required. All seminars will take place in LTB 2153.

Library closed on Labor Day

The USFP Library and the Open Use Lab will be closed on Monday, September 6th. The chat reference service, Ask a Librarian, will be closed on Sunday, September 5th and Monday, September 6th. Our electronic resources? Still available, 24/7, wherever you are
