Job opening: Library Student Assistant

The USF Lakeland Library is currently seeking a Library Student Assistant. Duties include manning the circulation desk and offering basic orientation and assistance to library users.

Schedule is Saturday and some week day evening hours.

Spring Break

The Library and the Open Use Computer Lab will be open at regular hours during the Spring Break week:
Monday – Thursday – 8am-9pm
Friday and Saturday – 8am-5pm
Sunday – closed

The winner of our book drawing at the beginning of February is Dr Cynthia Patterson, Assistant Professor of English in the Arts and Sciences Division of USFL. ScienceDirect downtime this Saturday

All parts of ScienceDirect will be down tomorrow, Saturday March 3rd, including the linking gateway software. ScienceDirect is the platform for commercial publisher Elsevier’s electronic journals.

Users will see a message that the system is temporarily down. The outage will start at 6:30 AM EST and last approximately 9 hours.
