Intermittent downtime with Gale databases

Gale is currently experiencing intermittent problems with their online databases. They are working on it as we speak. The USF Libraries have access to several Gale databases, including Academic ASAP, Business & Company Resource Center, General One File and a multitude of online reference encyclopedias and dictionaries.

Downtime for IEEE Xplore

On Thursday, February 21st, users of the IEEE Xplore can expect up to one hour of downtime, beginning at 8:00AM EST. Xplore is the search engine for the IEEE Electronic Library (IEL).

New Database: SourceOECD

The USF Lakeland Library turned one on January 27th! Please join us to celebrate its birthday during the 3W event on February 20th, from 3:30 to 6:00PM on the lawn between LAC and LTB. We’ll have cake and other goodies.

New database in the Library

Business students and faculty will find the DataStream Advance database from Thomson on computer 1115-42 in the Group Study area of the Library.

Here are the new materials that have arrived at the USFL Library during the month of January. As always, new circulating books and Children’s books are put in the New Books shelves in the Study Group area. Reference books, A/V materials and new journals are shelved immediately in their respective areas.
