New book by USF Poly librarian

Diane Fulkerson, Social Sciences & Education Librarian, has published a new book this month at IGI-Global. The book is entitled Remote Access Technologies for Library Collections: Tools for Library Users and Managers.

The book covers topics like the identification, implementation and updating of new technologies, copyright and fair use laws, creation of metadata for access to digital collections, collection development and outreach activities to users.

Diane did an interview with the publisher where she discusses the changes brought by remote access technologies for libraries.
