The African Studies Companion is an annotated guide to print and electronic information sources in the field of African Studies. As in many other disciplines, there is now growing information overload on Africa and African studies. This makes the need for critical evaluation all the more important. Annotations in the African Studies Companion are evaluative rather than purely descriptive. This fully searchable electronic edition is regularly updated to provide maximum currency.
