The Florida Electronic Library is giving free access to all Florida residents to a new database : the Small Business Resource Center by Gale Cengage.
This comprehensive database covers all major areas of starting, operating and maintaining a business from financing, management, marketing, accounting, taxes and more.
You can search by business topics or types, and view sample business plans.
Don’t miss the vast array of other databases offered by the Florida Electronic Library, in business or in other fields.
can they give it to non Florida residence as well?
Unfortunately, you have to be a Florida resident to access the Florida Electronic Library. Or visit a Florida public library.
Do we need to be full-time residents? I have a part-time residence (my parents!) and am there over a good part of the summer taking care of them. Thanks!
Actually, what is being recognized and accepted by the FEL systems is a Florida IP address. So if you are visiting relatives that live in Florida and are using their Internet connection to search the FEL and the Small Business Resource Center, you will have access.
Do you know if there are resources like this in other states?
I do believe other states have similar resources. I would suggest looking on your state government’s website for the division or department overseeing libraries. Maybe your state’s library association could refer you as well.
Schaue nach dem Facebook Like Button, kommt der noch? Oder bin ich nur zu schusselig? Danke Lastactionseo
Hallo!
We do not have a “Like” button yet. It’s a very good suggestion though, thank you.
